This camera has a very powerful
flash bulb. Do not set off the flash
any closer than 1.5 m to the eyes.
Do not allow children to play with
the camera unsupervised.

4. Loading the batteries
Danger: Do not expose the batteries
to sources of heat or flames. Do not
short-circuit them, or take them
apart. This could cause them to
explode and cause serious injury.
Focus: 1.5 m to infinity
Shutter speed: 1/125 sec.
Flash: about 8 sec. requried for charging
Film speed/flash range:

and insert two batteries, as
shown.

Note: Old batteries should not be
disposed of with the household
waste. Take them to your dealer or
to a suitable battery recycling cen-
ter.
Otherwise, the new film is pulled
back into the cartridge.
6. Switching On / Off
¾ With the sliding switch on the
front under the lens, switch the
camera...
5. Loading the film

On: The lens is opened.
Off: The lens is closed.
² Open the back panel and load
a film, as shown.
Ƽ Make sure that the teeth on
the winder wheel engage in
the corresponding perforations
in the film.

7. Taking photographs
When you have a subject in focus
Due to the intensity of the flash, the
eyes of people in photographs
often appear with a striking red
colour. This is because the light
from the flash is reflected on the
inside of the eyes.

8. Taking the film out

9. Cleaning
Danger: Never open the casing.
There are no operating controls
inside. If the casing is opened,
there is a risk of severe injury
from electric shock.
Note: After opening the back
panel, check that the winding
direction switch has returned auto-
matically. If necessary, move it
back to the normal film advance
position (see Section 5).
Otherwise, the new film will be
immediately wound back into the
cartridge.
Never touch the lens with the fin-
gers or hard objects. These can
easily scratch the lens!
Only clean the device with a soft,
dry cloth. Do not use cleaning
agents or abrasive materials that
could leave scratches on the
casing, and especially on the vie-
wing glass.

10. Disposal
If you are going to dispose of this
appliance, first take out the batte-
ries. Used batteries should not be
disposed of with the household
waste. Return these to your retailer
or to an appropriate collection site
for disposal.
Tip: Care for the environment. If
you wish to dispose of this applian-
ce, take it to a recycling center for
electronic equipment
.
